About

I grew up in Toronto, the second of three boys. Still living in the TDot, I now have two teenage daughters.

 

I have a B.A. and M.A. in philosophy from Western University and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Toronto.

I was a professor of philosophy for 10 years, first at Toronto Metropolitan University and then at York University. During this time, I taught dozens of courses and published several philosophy articles.

Feeling like I needed a change, I took a job as an education editor and writer at Our Kids Media, where I've been for eight years. At Our Kids, I've written and published many articles and written and edited our annual magazine.
